Sharmistha Chakrabarti has been promoted to counsel at Skadden Arps in New York, effective 1 June 2023. Sharmistha focuses on investor and commercial arbitration in the telecommunications, oil and gas, media, and technology sectors. She also regularly provides strategic advice on drafting dispute resolution clauses in international commercial contracts. She was recognized in International Arbitration’s 40 under 40 (2021) and is a member of the New York International Arbitration Center’s Program Committee.
