Emilia Onyema has been named to the court of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, effective 2 February 2023. Emilia is a Professor of International Commercial Law at SOAS University of London, where her research and teaching focus on international commercial arbitration and international investment law, with a regional focus on Africa. She is qualified to practice law in Nigeria and as a Solicitor in England & Wales. Emilia is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and has experience as the presiding, co and sole arbitrator in international commercial arbitration cases.
