ArbitralWomen at the IBA Annual Conference in Toronto
On 4 November 2025, ArbitralWomen was delighted to co-host, together with ArbitralWomen Corporate Subscriber Baker McKenzie, a special breakfast session titled “Arbitration Espresso – A Quick Shot of Arbitration in Canada” during the IBA Annual Conference in Toronto.
The event opened with welcoming remarks from ArbitralWomen Vice-President Katherine Bell, who set the stage for an engaging and insightful discussion, expertly moderated by ArbitralWomen Member Nuna Lerner.
Distinguished speakers included Sarah McEachern and Dina Prokic, and ArbitralWomen Members Christina Doria, Tanya Landon, and Janet Walker, each delivered a five-minute espresso insight on key themes shaping international arbitration in Canada, underscoring the country’s strengths and evolving role in the global arbitration landscape.
The substantive session was followed by a lively networking reception, where participants connected and exchanged perspectives with colleagues from Canada and beyond.
ArbitralWomen is proud to continue amplifying women’s voices in arbitration and fostering spaces for dialogue, collaboration, and meaningful professional connection.
