Aysha Mutaywea Appointed as Judge to the Bahrain International Commercial Court

Aysha Mutaywea has been appointed as a Judge at the Bahrain International Commercial Court, effective 20 October 2025, marking another milestone in her distinguished legal career. Earlier this year, she launched Mutaywea Law, a boutique firm specialising in arbitration, construction, commercial and sports disputes. Ms. Mutaywea serves on the boards of ICC Bahrain, the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution, the Women Research Centre at the Royal University for Women, and the ICC Bulletin. A leading Bahraini arbitrator and lawyer, she has sat as arbitrator in more than 30 international arbitration cases and continues to advance international dispute resolution in the MENA region.
