Silja Schaffstein Promoted to Partner at Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler in Geneva
Silja Schaffstein was promoted to the partnership at Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler, effective 1 January 2025. A dual qualified lawyer (NY, Geneva), she frequently acts as arbitrator, counsel and co-counsel in international and domestic arbitrations, and advises and represents parties before the Swiss courts in complex cross-border litigations and arbitration-related proceedings. She is the author of a well-known book on The Doctrine of Res Judicata Before International Commercial Arbitral Tribunals (OUP, 2016), and has been recongnised as a Global Elite Thought Leader, ranked among the most highly regarded individuals (EMEA) and listed as a rising star in arbitration by WWL/Lexology and Legal500.
