Samaa Haridi Is Appointed as Senior Vice Chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee and Co-Chair of the IBA’s Africa Arbitration Group
Samaa Haridi has been appointed as Senior Vice Chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee and Co-Chair of the IBA’s Africa Arbitration Group with effect from 1 January 2020. Samaa is a partner at Hogan Lovells LLP based in New York, and regularly sits as an arbitrator in international disputes in addition to acting as counsel. ;Samaa specialises in commercial and investment arbitration and is a member of the bars of New York, California, and England & Wales. She speaks fluent English, French and Arabic and conversational Spanish. Samaa is a Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Vice President of the LCIA Users' Council, and a member of the Steering Committee of the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge. She is recognised as a Thought Leader by Who’s Who and for her expertise by the leading directories.
