Merci Okiro Appointed as an YIAG Africa Regional Representative

Mercy Okiro has been appointed as an LCIA Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) Africa Regional Representative for the 2025–2027 term, effective October 2025.  Mercy is a skilled practitioner, accredited mediator, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). She is the Chairperson of the National Construction Authority in Kenya. She has previously served as an ICC YAF Representative and as part of the IBA Arb40 Steering Committee, and currently sits on the ERA Pledge Africa Sub-Committee and the Advisory Board of the LCA YAN. Mercy has been recognised as one of Kenya’s leading arbitrators and has been honoured by the Association of Young Arbitrators, CIArb Kenya, and the Law Society of Kenya. She is committed to enhancing capacity and diversity in dispute resolution across Africa.”
