Jennifer Permesly has been re-appointed to the position of Co-Chair of the International Bar Association’s International Arbitration Insolvency and Arbitration Group for the 2021-2022 term, effective 1 January 2021. The Group is studying the intersection of arbitration and insolvency in 19 jurisdictions and will publish a report on best practices for arbitrators and counsel facing these issues. Jennifer is a Partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York. She specializes in international arbitration and U.S. litigation in disputes relating to complex, cross-border commercial transactions. She has been recognized by Chambers and the Legal 500, and as a Future Leader in Who’s Who Legal.
