Isabel San Martín Promoted to Counsel at LALIVE

Isabel San Martín has been promoted to Counsel at LALIVE in London, effective 1 January 2026.  Prior to joining LALIVE in 2021, Isabel was an Associate at King & Spalding in Paris.

Qualified in Spain and New York, Isabel specializes international arbitration (both commercial and investment treaty) as well as public international law.  She has experience in a variety of sectors, including energy, mining, construction and banking and finance, and matters under a wide variety of procedural rules, including UNICTRAL, ICSID, SCC, LCIA, FAI and CAIP.

She is a member of the Steering Committee of Young EFILA, the Steering Committee of the UK Chapter of the Spanish and Iberoamerican Arbitration Club (CEIA), and of the Young Practitioners' Subcommittee of the ERA Pledge.  She was also a member of the ICC Task Force on Arbitration of Climate Change Related Disputes.
