Funke Adekoya SAN Becomes a Full-Time Arbitrator and Litigation Consultant

Funke Adekoya has left her position at AELEX to become a full-time independent arbitrator and litigation consultant, effective 28 February 2022. After 18 years as the head of the Disputes Resolution Practice Group at AELEX, a Lagos, Nigeria based law firm of which she was a founding partner, Funke Adekoya SAN has retired as a Partner. Earlier this year she was selected by Chambers Africa as the Nigerian Lawyer of the Year 2022, after winning the Africa Arbitration Association Arbitrator/ADR Practitioner of the Year Award in 2021. Funke will continue in legal practice as an independent arbitrator and litigation consultant.
