Isabel San Martín

I obtained my LLB from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid, Spain.  I also have an LL.M in American Law from Boston University School of Law, and a Masters Degree in Legal Practice from Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Spain. 

I am a member of the New York Bar and Madrid Bar, and former member of the Paris Bar. 

I have spoken at a number of conferences and events, including: ASIL (American Society of International Law) Annual Meeting, IBA Arbitration Day, the CILS (Centre for International Legal Studies) Arbitration Symposium, the Annual Congress of the CEIA (Spanish and Iberoamerican Arbitration Club), and the Instituto Peruano de Arbitraje - XVI Congreso de Arbitraje Internacional IPA.

I have also spoken at a number of events organized by Young EFILA (now IFILA), CEIA-40, ICDR Young and International, ICC YAAF, among others.

I teach a class on Arbitration and Corruption in the Swiss Arbitration Academy, and have taught a 2-day module on International Investment Law at Universidad del Rosario, Colombia.

Acted as counsel in more than 18 international arbitration matters, both investment treaty and commercial cases.
