On 18 June 2026, YAWP was delighted to participate in the Dutch Arbitration Day organising a breakfast panel bringing together practitioners.  The speakers shared their insights on a range of topics, including the differences between Dutch and international styles of arbitration, how the Dutch international arbitration community has evolved over time, the value of stepping outside one’s comfort zone to pursue opportunities in different markets, and the integration versus assimilation of foreign-qualified practitioners.
 
The panel featured notable female arbitration practitioners including: Jacomijn van Haersolte-van Hof, Pauline Boerma, Sahra Arif, Erin Cronjé, and Melanie van Leeuwen. YAWP Steering Committee Member Özge Yazar served as moderator.
 
YAWP was pleased to collaborate with the Dutch Arbitration Association for this event and hopes to continue participating in future editions. Special thanks to Charli Janssen for helping make this event possible.
