On 28 August 2025, during the Singapore Convention Week, YAWP and YSIAC co-organised a breakfast event entitled “Advocating for Your Case and for Yourself”. Lucy Reed (ArbitralWomen member and the President of the SIAC Court), Sheila Ahuja KC (Partner, A&O Shearman), and Blossom Hing SC (Director, Drew & Napier) shared practical insights and tips on how to become an effective advocate before both tribunals and stakeholders to advance one’s career in the competitive yet rewarding field of arbitration. Cathryn Neo (ArbitralWomen member, YAWP Speaker Panel participant and Associate Director at Aon) and Jo-Ann Heng (Deputy Counsel, SIAC) expertly moderated the discussion and Jae Hee Suh (YAWP Steering Committee member and Counsel, A&O Shearman) delivered opening remarks.
