Members Invited to Submit Statements of Interest to Serve as ArbitralWomen’s Representative at UNCITRAL Working Group III’s 50th Session in Vienna

The ArbitralWomen Board invites ArbitralWomen members to submit a statement of interest to serve as ArbitralWomen’s representative at the forthcoming United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL)’s 58th Session. The session will be held on 7-23 July 2025 in Vienna, Austria.

ArbitralWomen has observer status with UNCITRAL and is invited to send a representative as an observer which may participate in the Working Group’s deliberations. Information about UNCITRAL’s rules of procedure and methods of work are available here.

Please submit statements of interest to Mary Thomson (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and Cherine Foty (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) on the UNCITRAL Committee by 26 July 2025. Indicate your availability and ability to travel to Vienna for the entirety of the session dates, and provide a paragraph explaining why you are interested in: (i) attending the UNCITRAL Working Group III session, and (ii) serving as ArbitralWomen’s representative in that context. Please note that the representative chosen to attend does so at their own expense and is expected to provide the ArbitralWomen Board with a subsequent brief report which we may publish in our newsletter.
