Velislava Hristova Wins 2022 CPR Outstanding Professional Short Article Award
Velislava Hristova and her co-author Andrés E. Alvarado Garzón are the recipients of the 2022 CPR Outstanding Professional Short Article Award for their article “International Arbitration and Cross-Border Insolvency - Friends or Foes? Revisiting the Role of Arbitration in Resolving Cross-border Insolvency-Related Disputes”, published in the Journal of International Dispute Settlement, Volume 12, Issue 4, December 2021. Dual-trained in common and civil law, Velislava is qualified to practise in Bulgaria and is currently serving as an American Bar Association Diversity Fellow. She specialises in investor-state arbitration, complex commercial disputes, and public international law.
