Vanessa Alarcon Duvanel has joined King & Spalding as Counsel in its Geneva office on 11 November 2019. She is the first member of King & Spalding’s international arbitration team to be based in Geneva, Switzerland.  Vanessa acts as counsel and arbitrator in international commercial disputes in a range of industry sectors.  She has particular expertise in construction and pharmaceutical arbitrations around the world.  Vanessa is a member of the CPR European Advisory Board and the NYIAC Program Committee.  She speaks French, English, Spanish and German and is admitted to practice in Switzerland and the State of New York.
