Selda Taşyürek Köksal has been appointed as an LCIA Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) Middle East Regional Representative for the 2025–2027 term, effective October 2025. Selda is a partner at Arikan Partners in Istanbul, where she specialises in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution, with a particular focus on construction, infrastructure, energy, and shipping disputes. She regularly acts as counsel and arbitrator in ICC, LCIA and ad hoc arbitrations, governed by a range of substantive laws and arbitration rules. Selda is actively involved in arbitration-related academic and professional initiatives and frequently speaks and publishes on international arbitration and FIDIC-based disputes.
Each year ArbitralWomen provides support to a number of Teams who participate in dispute resolution competitions, such as the Vis or Vis East International Arbitration Moot by covering their registration fee.
