Mercy Okiro, a current member of Arbitral Women, has been appointed the Chairperson of the National Construction Authority Board in Kenya. She previously served on the board as the Vice Chairperson. Mercy is an independent arbitrator, mediator, and construction adjudicator with vast experience in dispute resolution across various industries. She has been feted for her contributions to gender equality, leadership and alternative dispute resolution by the Association of Young Arbitrators, the Law Society of Kenya and other notable organisations. She has been named among the “Top 100 Arbitrators in Kenya” in 2023, 2024 and 2022 by Lawyer Africa.
