Maxi Scherer has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Indonesia International Arbitration Center, with effect from 1 August 2021. Maxi is a Professor of Law and Chair for International Arbitration, Dispute Resolution & Energy Law at Queen Mary University of London, School of International Arbitration. She is also Special Counsel at WilmerHale in London. Maxi regularly sits as arbitrator and acts as counsel in both commercial and investor state arbitrations and has been widely recognized as a leading arbitration practitioner, including as a Global Elite Thought Leader by Who's Who Legal.
