Maria Claudia Procopiak has founded Procopiak Arbitration to enable her to focus on her practice as an independent arbitrator with effect from January 2020. Based in London and Rio de Janeiro, Maria Claudia sits as arbitrator in a wide variety of international arbitration matters under all major institutional and ad hoc arbitral rules. She was previously a senior associate at Dechert LLP where she worked for a decade in Paris and London, representing clients in commercial and investment arbitrations. Maria Claudia speaks Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.
