Mélida Hodgson Elected As the Next President of the American Society of International Law (ASIL)

Mélida Hodgson has been elected as the next president of the American Society of International Law, effective 2024. Mélida is a partner at Arnold & Porter in New York. Her practice focuses on international commercial and investor-state arbitration. Fluent in Spanish and English, she is particularly respected as an arbitration expert in Latin American, and consistently rated as one of the top lawyers in the region by Latinvex.
