Katie L. Gonzalez has been appointed to the IBA Arb40 Steering Committee, the IBA Arbitration Committee’s under-40 group, effective April 2026. Katie is a Partner in International Arbitration and Litigation practice group at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York, where her work spans a broad range of sectors, including oil and gas, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and technology. Katie is also an adjunct professor at Cardozo Law School, where she teaches a course on international arbitration. Katie has been recognized for her work by Who’s Who Legal (Lexology), Chambers USA, LatinVex, and Legal 500 Latin America.
