Kamalia Mehtiyeva has joined Thomas Clay’s firm Clay Arbitration as Special Counsel in Paris, effective June 2025. Kamalia is the Co-Founder and Co-President of the Turkic Arbitration Association (TAA), effective 29 September 2023, as well as President of Azerbaijan Arbitration Association, effective 3 April 2023. She is also a Professor of Law in Paris (Paris XII Creteil University) and a member of the Paris Bar. Kamalia’s practice focuses on international commercial arbitration, investment arbitration, and international enforcement procedures. Kamalia also sits as arbitrator.
