Gillian Carmichael Lemaire, a former member of the Board of ArbitralWomen, has been been elected to the Committee of the London Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with effect from 23 April 2020. Gillian is principal of Carmichael Lemaire Limited and acts as counsel, arbitrator and mediator. She is based in London and focuses on international commercial and investment treaty arbitration with particular emphasis on the construction, infrastructure and general commercial sectors. Gillian is a member of the Paris Bar, a solicitor admitted in Scotland, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an accredited mediator. She speaks English and French.
