Fatima Balfaqeeh Elected as Vice-Chair of the CIArb’s UAE Branch
Fatima Balfaqeeh has been elected as the Vice-Chair of the UAE Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, with effect from 1 March 2021. Fatima is the Managing Director of RKAH Legal Consultancy in Abu Dhabi. She has 16 years of experience as counsel, independent arbitrator, mediator and business consultant in a wide array of commercial, legal, and operational matters. She has particular experience in construction-related fields, governance enforcement in contracts and procurement for government entities, project-related finance, payables, and banking credit facilities for cooperate clients. Fatima is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Chain, and a board member of ICC-UAE and the MENA advisory panel of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
