Cecilia Carrara has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS), effective 1 February 2022. Cecilia is a Partner at Legance Avvocati Associati, based in Rome. She has significant experience in national and international, commercial and investment arbitration proceedings. Cecilia has particular experience in mergers & acquisitions, extraordinary corporate transactions and commercial contracts, mainly representing foreign clients investing in Italy. She is also responsible for Legance's German desk which focuses on German-speaking countries and Eastern Europe. Cecilia is also a member of the Steering Committee of the ERA Pledge and on the board of the Italian Arbitration Association, amongst other positions.
