
Ayesha Mitaywea Launches Boutique Law Firm Mutaywea Law in Bahrain
Aysha Mutaywea, an international arbitrator, mediator and lawyer, has launched a boutique law firm; Mutaywea Law in Bahrain, effective 1 June 2025. The firm specialises in handling construction, corporate, commercial, finance, technology, AI and sports disputes. It handles complex litigations, mediation and arbitration cases. Aysha is the Founder and Managing Partner of Mutaywea Law and works with an all-female team of talented associates. She has more than 15 years of experience and is admitted to the Cassation and Constitutional Courts of Bahrain. She previously spent 10 years as Partner at Mena Chambers Bahrain. Aysha is one of the youngest members to serve on the ICC Court for Arbitration and has completed her two terms at the ICC Court last year. Currently, she is a board member at ICC Bahrain, the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution, the ICC Bulletin Advisory Board and the Royal University for Women Research Centre. She is also the chairperson of the ICC ADR & Arbitration Committee Bahrain. Aysha is the first Bahraini to be admitted as an arbitrator in the Court for Sports (CAS). She sits regularly as arbitrator in international commercial arbitrations as well as sports tribunals. Aysha represents Bahrain in ICSID’s Panel for Arbitrators and Conciliators and UNCITRAL Working Groups II and III on behalf of Bahrain.
