Emma Johnson (née Martin) has been promoted to partner at Ashurst with effect from 1 May 2019. Emma joined Ashurst in 2016 from DLA Piper. Based in London, Emma specialises in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration, with particular focus on the energy sector, having particular experience in the gas, LNG, solar and EfW sectors. She also has experience of construction and telecommunications disputes. Much of her work involves civil law, and in particular, Scandinavian governing and procedural laws. Emma was recognised as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ by the Legal 500 in 2018.
