Ank Santens Appointed Global Co-Chair of White & Case’s International Arbitration Practice
Ank Santens has been appointed Global Co-Chair of White & Case’s International Arbitration Practice, effective 1 January 2026. Ank has over 25 years of experience as counsel and arbitrator in commercial, investment, and construction arbitrations around the globe, with a particular emphasis on Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Her leadership roles include Chair of the Executive Committee of the Foundation for International Arbitration Advocacy and Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, as well as roles at CPR, Delos, LCIA, IBA Arbitration Committee, NYIAC, and ITA. Originally from Belgium, she is dual-qualified in New York and England & Wales, and handles matters in English, Spanish, French, and Dutch.
