Vilija has been a member of the Lithuanian Bar Association since 1999. From 2006 to 2017, she served as member for Lithuania at ICC International Court of Arbitration and was an ex officio member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration.
She is a recommended arbitrator of the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration and the Polish Lewiatan Court of Arbitration, a member of Association ArbitralWomen, and a member of the International Arbitration Institute in Paris (IAI).
Since 2017, Vilija has served as Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Lithuania.
Vilija speaks Lithuanian (native), English, Russian, and Italian (conversational).
