On 15 March 2025, ArbitralWomen members Milagros Gómez Sánchez C., Salomé Reynoso Romero, Karina Urquizo Vinatea, and Lourdes Luna led a panel on “Selection of Arbitrators in State Arbitration: Challenges and Opportunities to Promote Diversity.”
The session explored how the appointment of arbitrators in state disputes can serve as a gateway to strengthening transparency, efficiency, and diversity in arbitration. The discussion was dynamic and forward-thinking, reflecting a growing commitment within the field to build a more inclusive and representative arbitration community.
