Call for Expressions of Interest: Upcoming UNCITRAL Working Group Session in New York

The ArbitralWomen Board invites Members to submit a statement of interest to serve as ArbitralWomen’s representative at the forthcoming United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) sessions. Working Group III will hold its 53rd Session from 12-16 January 2026. The session will take place in New York.

ArbitralWomen holds observer status with UNCITRAL and may send a representative to participate in the Working Group’s deliberations. Information about UNCITRAL’s rules of procedure and methods of work is available here.

Interested Members should contact ArbitralWomen Board Members Mary Thomson (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) by 30 November 2025: (i) confirming their availability to travel to the session for the entirety of the session dates, and (ii) explaining their motivation to attend and represent ArbitralWomen.

Please note that attendance is self-funded, and the selected representative will be asked to provide a brief report for publication in ArbitralWomen’s Newsletter here and on ArbitralWomen’s website here.
