Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr has promoted three ArbitralWomen members in its London office, effective 1 January 2023. Nadja Al Kanawati has been promoted to counsel, and Tiffany Chan and Miranda Elvidge have been promoted to Senior Associate.
A Swiss national, Nadja Al Kanawati is dual-qualified in Switzerland and New York and has experience with international arbitrations under a variety of institutional and ad hoc rules, representing clients in a broad range of disputes with both civil and common law backgrounds. She co-leads the London chapter of the German Arbitration Institute’s Below 40 Group and teaches an international commercial arbitration course at the Université Catholique de Lille.
Tiffany Chan is dual-qualified in England and Wales and in New York. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, her arbitration practice focuses on advising individuals, corporations and international organizations on commercial, investment and public international law issues.
Miranda Elvidge is qualified to practise in England and Wales, and has represented clients on international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, under a variety of institutional rules. She has experience working on a broad range of disputes, including energy, M&A and sports disputes.
