Rebeca Mosquera, a member of the Board of ArbitralWomen, has recently been appointed as a member of the ICC Institute of World Business Law, effective 1 July 2022. Rebeca is a Senior Associate at Reed Smith in New York. She specialises in international commercial and investment disputes, conducted under the ICC, ICDR, AAA, ICSID, and UNCITRAL rules, and on an ad hoc basis, with particular emphasis on the energy, mining, oil and gas, and renewables sectors. Admitted to the Bars of New York and Panama, Rebeca also sits as an arbitrator. She is an ICC YAF regional representative for North America, a member of the Organising Committee for New York Arbitration Week 2022, and a member of the Rising Arbitrators Initiative Membership Task Force. Rebeca has been recognised as one of Latin America’s Top 100 Female Lawyers by Latinvex, as “Most Highly Regarded” by Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration, and as a Rising Star by the New York Law Journal.
