Noiana Marigo has been appointed as Co-Chair of the IBA’s Investment Arbitration Subcommittee with effect from 1 January 2020. Noiana is a partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, head of the firm’s US international arbitration group and co-head of the firm’s Latin America practice. Based in New York, Noiana’s practice focuses on investor-state and commercial arbitrations across a variety of sectors. She acts as counsel and arbitrator and is admitted to practice in New York and Buenos Aires. Noiana is recognised for her expertise and thought leadership by Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration and the Chambers Guide and was the 2019 recipient of the Hispanic National Bar Foundation’s Latina Leadership Award.
