The ArbitralWomen Board invites ArbitralWomen members to submit a statement of interest to serve as ArbitralWomen’s representative at the forthcoming UNCITRAL Working Group sessions:
- Working Group II (Dispute Settlement) 81st Session to be held from 3-7 February 2025 in New York.
- Working Group III (Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform) 51st Session to be held from 7-11 April 2025 in New York.
ArbitralWomen has observer status with UNCITRAL and is invited to send a representative as an observer to each of these sessions which may participate in the Working Group’s deliberations. Information about UNCITRAL’s rules of procedure and methods of work are available here.
Please submit statements of interest to Mary Thomson (mary.thomson@pacificchambers.com) and Cherine Foty (cfoty@cov.com) on the UNCITRAL Committee by the following deadlines:
- By 17 January 2025 for the 3-7 February 2025 Session.
- By 21 March 2025 for the 7-11 April 2025 Session.
Indicate your availability and ability to travel to Vienna for the entirety of the session dates, and provide a paragraph explaining why you are interested in: (i) attending the UNCITRAL Working Group session, and (ii) serving as ArbitralWomen’s representative in that context.
