Marney Cheek has been appointed as the next Vice President of the American Society of International Law, effective 2024. Marney is a partner at Covington & Burling, where she co-chairs the International Arbitration and Disputes Practice. Marney’s experience includes leading complex investment treaty and international commercial disputes, as well as advising clients on public international law matters, issues arising under numerous multilateral treaties and international trade matters. She has been recognised in notable international law rankings, including Chambers Global and Chambers USA.
