Laura Sinisterra has been promoted to Partner at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York, effective 1 July 2022. Laura specialises in international arbitration and litigation, concentrating in the mining and energy sectors, in which she regularly handles complex disputes arising out of Latin America. She currently serves on the board of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Arbitraje (ALARB), as Vice Chair of the International Arbitration Committee of the ABA’s International Law Section, as Co-Chair of ITA’s Communications Committee, and previously was the inaugural Chair of the ITA’s Young Mentorship Program. Laura is admitted in New York and Colombia. She has been recognized as a Rising Star and Future Leader in major rankings.
