Ioana Knoll-Tudor has been promoted to the partnership at Jeantet with effect from August 2020. Based in Paris and Budapest, Ioana specialises in international commercial (post M&A transaction, construction, commercial contracts) and investment arbitration, with particular focus in the CEE region. She acts as both counsel and arbitrator. Ioana is admitted to the bars of Budapest, Madrid and Paris, and speaks English, French, Spanish, Italian and Romanian. Ioana is Founder and Vice-President of the Romanian Chapter of the Club Espanol de Arbitraje (CEA) and ICC YAF Representative for Europe and Russia. She is the author of the monography “The Fair and Equitable Treatment Standard in the International Law of Foreign Investment” (1st edition OUP, 2008, 2nd edition Kluwer, 2021). Ioana is recommended for her expertise by the Legal 500, Chambers and the IFLR.
