Gisela Paris has been promoted to partner at Foley Hoag in Washington DC, effective 1 January 2024. Gisela specializes in representing sovereigns, state-owned companies and corporate clients in arbitration proceedings before the leading international dispute resolution institutions. She previously worked at Curtis Mallet-Prevost Colt & Mosle and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, as well as a leading firm in Buenos Aires and as a legal advisor at the Ministry of Economy of Argentina, before joining Foley Hoag in 2013. A fluent speaker of Spanish, Portuguese and Hebrew, Gisela is admitted to practise in Washington, DC, New York and Argentina.
