Galina Zukova has been appointed as a Co-Chair to the arbitration council of the Georgian International Arbitration Centre (GIAC) with effect from 10 September 2020. Galina is a dual qualified lawyer in Paris and Latvia with over twenty years of legal experience. She has frequently served as arbitrator and counsel in a number of international arbitration proceedings. Prior to founding her own firm in Paris in 2019, Galina was a Partner in a boutique law firm in Paris and has also previously served as Counsel at the ICC International Court of Arbitration where she led the case management team for parties from the Central and Eastern European region. In addition to chairing the GIAC, Galina is a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and the Finland Arbitration Institute. Galina is also an Associate Professor at the University of Versailles (Paris-Saclay) and the Riga Graduate School of Law.
