Dr. Elke Umbeck has been elected as President of the Chinese European Arbitration Association (CEAA) for a three year term, effective 4 June 2021 after having served as Vice President during the previous term. Elke is a Partner and Co-Head of the Litigation and Arbitration practice group at the German law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Hamburg. She has over twenty years of experience in national and international commercial arbitration and advises national and foreign clients in complex disputes. Elke has particular experience in corporate, post M&A, energy, construction, and commercial and trade law disputes.
