Elena Gutiérrez García de Cortázar, a director of ArbitralWomen, has been appointed as a member of the International Court of Arbitration of AmCham Peru. Based in Paris, Elena is an independent arbitrator with over 20 years of experience in international commercial and investment arbitration. She is admitted to the Bars of Paris and Madrid and speaks English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. Elena is a member of the ICC Arbitration Commission, the ICC International Arbitration Latin-American Group and a Board Member of the Spanish Arbitration Club. She is recognised for her expertise by Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration. With its new composition of the Court, Amcham Peru will be the first International Arbitration Court with a female majority in the Latin-American region.
