Dorothee Schramm has been appointed to the Board of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) with effect from 1 January 2020. Dorothee is a partner at Sidley Austin LLP, based in Geneva, and sits as an arbitrator in addition to acting as counsel. She specialises in commercial arbitration, with particular expertise in the engineering, life sciences and technology sectors. Dorothee is qualified in Switzerland and speaks English, French and German. She an alternate member of the Appointing Committee of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS). Dorothee is recognised as a Rising Star by Expert Guides – Commercial Arbitration and as a Leading Practitioner and Thought Leader by Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration.
