Claire Morel de Westgaver, a former member of the Steering Committee of YAWP, has been promoted to the partnership of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP (BCLP) in the firm’s International Arbitration and Construction Disputes team, with effect from 1 January 2020. Claire has a mixed civil / common law background and is admitted to practise in England and Wales and in New York. She has particular experience of disputes relating to technology, corporate transactions, distribution, cross-border sale or service agreements. Claire practises in both English and French and also sits as an arbitrator. She is a co-chair of the Young Professionals group of the Silicon Valley Arbitration & Mediation Center (SVAMC-YP) and a member of the Steering Committee of CEPANI 40. A Belgian national, Claire lives in London with her husband and three children.
