Rebeca Mosquera Appointed Institution Officer of the International Bar Association’s Arbitration Committee
ArbitralWomen President Rebeca Mosquera has been appointed as an Institution Officer of the International Bar Association’s Arbitration Committee, effective 1 January 2026. She is a Senior Counsel at Saudi Aramco in its International Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) group, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A dual-qualified lawyer in New York and Panama, Rebeca has developed a distinguished arbitration practice representing sovereigns and companies in high-stakes disputes under ICSID, UNCITRAL, AAA/ICDR, LCIA, and ICC rules, and in ad hoc proceedings. Her work spans the full life cycle of investor-state and complex commercial cases, with a focus on energy, infrastructure, and enforcement. Rebeca is the current President of ArbitralWomen and is a frequent speaker on ethics and AI, standards of protection in ISDS, procedural fairness, and representation in international arbitration. Her work has been recognised by the Lexology Index as a Global Thought Leader in Arbitration, The Legal 500, Latinvex, and the New York Law Journal.
