Alexandra Johnson, a former Board Member of ArbitralWomen, has been elected as Vice President of the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution (SCAI) Arbitration Court, with effect from 1 January 2021. Alexandra is a Partner at Bär & Karrer in Geneva with 19 years of international arbitration experience. She regularly acts as arbitrator and counsel and has particular experience with joint venture agreements, oil and gas, construction and engineering, distribution and licensing agreements, sale of goods, pharmaceutical, M&A and sport-related disputes. Alexandra also represents parties in proceedings before Swiss cantonal courts and before the Swiss Supreme Courts. She has been listed in Legal 500 and in Who’s Who Legal for the past several years.
